Is it possible to synchronize data between the Xbox One and Windows 10?

You can have up to nine separate saved games, and there's also an autosave slot.
How do I switch between 3D mode and 2D mode?
It's possible to switch between the two modes mid-game at any church or campsite. When you switch, you'll need to select either your current 'chapter' or one you've already completed, and you'll begin play from that point in the story.
As a rule, most information (including party members' levels and attributes, your inventory, your battle history, Draconian Quest choices, quest completion status, accolades etc.) will be carried over from one mode to another unless there is a story-related reason for this not to be the case. You will also be unable to carry over your progress through Drustan's Labyrinth.
Can I play without an internet connection?
Yes. It's possible to complete the game without an internet connection.
Can I turn voices on and off?
Yes. Select "Misc." -> "System Settings" -> "Audio Settings" to turn voices—including the protagonist's voice—on or off.
How do I switch between Japanese and English audio?
Select "Misc." -> "System Settings" -> "Audio Settings" to change the voice language.
What's the difference between the physical and digital versions? Do the different versions come with different bonus features?
Both versions are exactly the same in terms of content.
For a limited period, those who download the PlayStation®4 digital version will receive an exclusive DRAGON QUEST XI Theme. Other digital versions do not come with any additional bonuses. The PlayStation®4 physical version does not include the exclusive theme, but it does come in special edition packaging.
Which OS do I need in order to play the Epic Game Store or Steam® version?
You will need to use Windows 10 in order to play these versions.
After installing the game and launching it for the first time, I received an error message informing me that a threat had been removed...
Some files may be misidentified by security software. This doesn't affect the game at all, and you can continue playing as normal.
What are the minimum/recommended system requirements for the PC version (Windows 10/Steam®/Epic Games Store)?
Can data from the Steam® version be carried over to the Epic Games Store version (or vice versa)?
Unfortunately, this is not possible.
What's the difference between the PlayStation®4 Pro and PlayStation®4 versions?
Players on PlayStation®4 Pro can enjoy the game at 60 FPS compared to the standard PlayStation®4 frame rate of 30 FPS. However, players on both consoles will benefit from 1080p resolution.
Is the story different from the Nintendo Switch™ version?
The story and the rest of the game content is exactly the same on all platforms.
Will I still enjoy this title if I've never played the original DRAGON QUEST XI on PlayStation®４ or DRAGON QUEST XI S on Nintendo Switch™?
Yes, anyone can enjoy this title, including people who've never played DRAGON QUEST XI, and even people who've never played a Dragon Quest game before.
What's the difference between this title and the original DRAGON QUEST XI for PlayStation®４? (Have the graphics been improved, for example?)
This version includes a number of new features that were not present in the original DRAGON QUEST XI for PlayStation®４, including new storylines, the ability to switch to 2D mode, additional voice data, and more. It's a port of the Nintendo Switch™ version, so the graphics are not the same as they were for the original DRAGON QUEST XI for PlayStation®４. Please note, however, that the resolution and frame rate are at least as good as they were for the original PlayStation®４release.
What will happen to the trophies I earned in DRAGON QUEST XI for PlayStation®４?
This is a completely separate title to DRAGON QUEST XI. The trophy library is therefore also separate.
Does this version feature the same content as the version that was released for the Nintendo Switch™ on the 27th of September 2019?
Yes, this version features exactly the same content as DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition, both in terms of story and gameplay, but at an all-new price point. Please refer to the product page for more details.
Can save data from the demo version be carried over into the full game?
Yes, it's possible to use save data from the demo version with both the digital and physical versions of the main game.
Is this demo the same as the one that was released for the Nintendo Switch™ in 2019?
